WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass., October 24, 2017—In celebration of Latinx Heritage Month, the executive producer and cast members of Netflix’s One Day at a Time will visit Williams College for a discussion of the show. This event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 4 p.m. in the ’62 Center Adams Memorial Theatre. It is free and open to the public, although seating is on a first come, first served basis.

The show, which is loosely based on the 1975-1984 series of the same name, focuses on the lives of a multi-generational Cuban American family living in Echo Park. Dialogue participants will include Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, and Tony awards winner Rita Moreno, Justina Machado, Isabella Gomez and Gloria Calderon Kellett, the executive producer, writer, and showrunner.

This event is sponsored by Latina and Latino Studies, American Studies, English, Spanish, Theater, Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Office of the President, Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity, the Davis Center, and VISTA.
